Safety
All float glass used is manufactured to the
relevant British Standards, mainly BS6206A. The glass is so strong that with
domestic use it will give years of enjoyment. However should a massive impact
occur, then the glass will safely break as safely as possible into tiny relatively
blunt pieces. With some items of furniture during testing plates and cups
dropped onto the furniture broke before damage occurred to the surface of the
glass. The furniture is of an obviously delicate nature, but when handled
correctly has a strength that is simply astounding. Full care instructions are
provided.
What about repairs?
All items in the current ranges are able to
be repaired at reasonable rates. We offer this service as we have the
technology to separate the immensely strong bonds between the glass. This
service is offered due to the quality and value of products making them worth
repairing. This offers piece of mind offered by few modern companies. We do not
consider this to be a core part of the business as we have yet to suffer a breakage
in the home. The strength of the products is testimony to the fact that they
are fit for purpose.
